(family introduction for senior night)
(family with Dad and Brendan in the background)
Ace,
Decided to hold off writing about this until after your FINAL game of the conference season. It took 3-5 players to shut you down tonight in St. Louis. The Bonnies finish the season on a 12 game winning streak and a 2nd place finish on the back of your leadership.
Senior Night 2018. UNREAL. 34 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. MY, my, my, how the conversation has ratcheted up about you. What a way to end your career at your last HOME GAME in the Reilly Center EVER. 3 OTs. Against a team (Davidson) that you were tied for 2nd place with. Game start time 9. Game end time 12:15. Who knew it would be so epic. Who knew that you would foul out at the REILLY CENTER on your last home game night and your team would still manage to walk away with a W.
In the midst of all the hype, who would understand that once again I would have to make the sacrifice of driving that 5.5 hours each way within a span of 15 hours to ensure that your lil' bro could play in what was his last game of his HS career. He didn’t want to miss YOUR MOMENT. Therefore I made sure he did'nt.

Unfortunately, you were not able to experience that WIN in front of the students but the Bonaventure community certainly came to support your team. It was to write a blurb about their support because it has been there ever since you were an unknown freshmen.
(letter to fans and coaches)
People not believing has been your motivation. Plus being under the radar ALLOWED you to grow. And as Schmidt stated, "You have that GOD-GIVEN FEEL." But the most respect comes when it's from other coaches from other teams. "Instinctual and not a HUNTER of shots," as stated by Richmond coach Mooney.
